Tracking down every Seedbed Curse in Elden Ring is essential for players seeking to complete the Loathsome Dung Eater questline and unlock the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse. These key items are scattered across late-game areas, often hidden on corpses that have been defiled by the Dung Eater. Understanding where to find each item allows Tarnished adventurers to navigate complex dungeon layouts efficiently.
Leyndell Royal Capital Locations
The first Seedbed Curse can be reached starting from the East Capital Rampart Site of Grace in Leyndell. Players must proceed south past the enemies, take the elevator down, and ascend a ladder inside the building to find the corpse. Another curse resides in the Fortified Manor, located on a body strapped to a chair in the equivalent of the Dung Eater's room.
Volcano Manor Hidden Item
To acquire the curse inside Volcano Manor, players need to progress past the Temple of Eiglay Site of Grace. Head through the area leading toward the boss teleporter and climb the stairs inside to locate a fog door requiring a Stonesword Key. Navigating down the wooden structures past this door leads directly to the collectible.
Elphael Brace of the Haligtree Curses
Two Seedbed Curses are located in the endgame area of Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. Starting from the Prayer Room Site of Grace, players can venture forward along the walkways to find a balcony holding the first corpse. Continuing further past the staircases and dropping down levels reveals the second curse sitting in a room near the lower structures.
Completing the Questline and Rewards
Gathering five Seedbed Curses allows players to fulfill the Dung Eater's demand in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. Returning these key items rewards the player with the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse, unlocking one of the game's distinct alternate endings. Following a structured route ensures no missable steps or alternate quest triggers disrupt your overall playthrough.
